The images in this gallery are the fruit of my favorite hobby: Role-Playing Games. If you don't know what an RPG is, Dungeons and Dragons is the most famous example - but there's plenty of other RPG genres to choose from. I've played a lot of AEG's Legend of the Five Rings RPG, set in a mythical japan-like setting (Which is why some characters have an oriental flavor to them).

Except where noted, these are quick character sketches based on the verbal descriptions of the people (players) in the game. Primarily pen and ink over pencil, with a little marker or colored pencil where appropriate. I use Adobe Photoshop for touch-ups and coloring after they're scanned.
