- 7/14/04: New pages in Self-Portraits. Gah, I wish these
pictures weren't so fuzzy. Proper scans will be put up later. For now,
I guess these will do... Yes, the hair is long, quite long.
- 3/21/04: New Character pages! You'll find 3 all-new full-color character
sketches in the RPG Gallery.
- 3/07/04: Zazzle Store updated! Original prints are now available
from Zazzle! As requested, both GuroGuro
and The Eaters of Sin
are now available as poster-prints, as well as a few other familiar images.

- 3/3/04: Be Vewwy Vewwy Quiet... We're Hunting Octopuses... Yes, it's
Octopus Season in the Store: New designs
based on the Octy drawing are available
from Cafepress! Check 'em out, they're spiffy - and they'll only be around
for a month or two before I put up something new.
- 2/20/04: At Long Last: New Stuff! New images are now up in the RPG
Gallery! They're sample illustrations for the ever-expanding genre of
Role-Playing games - you know, the tabletop kind. I'll post more soon.
- 12/12/03: Rearranging. No new content; just rearranging the index
page to highlight some galleries over others. I'll be adding some new stuff
to the Store soon - check back later
in the week!

- 11/03/03: New Address! New Stuff! New new new! Welcome to the NEW
site! Yes, I've moved off of Homestead into new digs - and with a spiffy new
name, too! The summer commissions are FINALLY up - Check out the Commissions
and Odd Jobs galleries for new entries!
- 9/01/03: And Awaaaaay We Go! Really, this has nothing much to do
with the website, but I and mine are off on vacation! "Vacation?"
you grumble, "And what's with this three-month updating hiatus, then?"
Silly old eyeballs! Just because I haven't updated the site doesn't mean I
haven't been busy! I've been working on commissions all summer - and soon
they'll be up in the Commissions
Gallery - but first, a much-needed break. Back in two weeks, Y'all! (For
those who STILL wish to get ahold of me, I will be checking my email. However,
kindly note the March 14th Entry, below.)
- 6/11/03: New Stuff! My loved ones know how busy I've been(probably
by counting their scars)... Now y'all can see what's been keeping me chained
to my desk... New pages up in Commissions
& Odd Jobs Galleries. Okay, so it's
not much to brag about ... still, it's keeping you entertained,
isn't it?
- 6/04/03: And I Really Liked them, too... Well, so much for my CafePress
Store. CafePress has redefined it's Terms of Service to include a whole lot
less service for a whole lot more fees, so it's time to move. The stores are
temporarily closed down whilst I try to find a better set of services somewhere
- http://www. 99dogs is looking the best so far, though I'm hoping I can find
someone who is less about the T-shirts and coffee mugs, and more about prints,
postcards and posters... Stay tuned till next week!
- 5/23/03: I'm off to BayCon! No, I don't have anything in the Art
Show this year ( maybe next year), but one of my life drawings will be in
the Charity Auction this year! Come on down and visit!
- 4/07/03: Two new Pages! Or maybe three.... New stuff in the Commissions
gallery! Go and peruse. Oh, and the Store
links should now open new browser windows when you click 'em. Spiffy, eh?
- 3/27/03: New Stuff in the Professional
Gallery. Yep, slowly but surely I'm filling it up...Now if I can just
find those concept sketches...*rummage rummage*
- 3/22/03: Learned a new HTML Command Today! Expect me to go all jiggy
with it. Links page updated with my new-found
toy...Now NO ONE IS SAFE! *insert maniacal laughter here*
- 3/18/03: Yawn. Updated the Professional Gallery some more (link below)
and dusted all the crud off the Links Page.
Now maybe we can get somewhere... more stuff tomorrow...

Gallery is UP! Well, parts of it anyway. I've finished the links to
the first section - My layout designs for last year's production of A
Midsummer Night's Dream, by Magical
Acts Ritual Theater. Everything else should be up in dribs and drabs this
week. Check back often!.
- 3/14/03: I Can't &%$! Believe It. Less than 24 hours has elapsed
since I set up my new blind email address, and what's the first thing in my
inbox? I mean literally, the first message in there, aside from the automatic
"Welcome to Yahoo!Mail!" message that gets sent when you open an
account? Get this - the Nigerian Mail Scam. That's it. I am officially Giving
Up on Humanity™.
PS: If anyone is inclined to Do Evil Things To Spammers, the email address
I got it from is j_obi@indiatimes.com.
(Take that, spambots!) Get on down with your bad self.
- 3/14/03: No, I haven't moved or anything. I've set up a false email
account as part of the Site Update: wookiemonster5 (at yahoo dot com). This
critter is primarily to foil spambots, and, while valid, it's not going to
be an email address I check often - 90% of the incoming mail will route directly
to the trash, unless my actual name is on it somewhere. My true addy will
always be firehair28 *AT* yahoo.com,and it's easiest to reach me there. (Replace
the *-bracketed object with an @ sign and you'll be able to email me just
fine.) Please forgive the deception, it's just that I'm heartily sick of getting
so much spam. Rrrrrrrrr, stupid spambots... Oh yes, one more thing: I found
an old bit of history
and uploaded it to the Self-portraits gallery... *YAWN* Must go sleep now...
- 3/13/03: Soon, My Children... The new Commissions Gallery nears completion,
and I'm working on fixing the appalling number of broken links in the galleries.
New stuff up soon, I promise!
- 3/11/03: They're Alive! ALIVE! I've updated all the Cafepress Stores
so that they may even hold your attention for more than a few minutes. New
in the Stores: Baby products! All sorts
of adorable bibs and wee little shirts and whatnot! Also, new images in the
Gamer
and Friends
Stores, including the much-requested Postman
Coffee Cup.
- 8/05/02: More Uploady Goodness! CafePress now has back-to-school
goodies, including some very nice Backpacks. Oh, and there's a new image up
in the Characters gallery...
and there are POSTERS in two stores: The
Dino Store and The
Friends Store. Ooh, they're nice big ones, too. So - all you guys who
have been pestering me for prints this past year-and-a-half - you know who
you are - go get 'em!
- 7/23/02: NEW
products in the Store!
Swag Bags, Frizbugs, Tile Coasters, Frosted Mugs! All manner of nifty, cool
and artistic stuff, plus those cool T-shirts you've been meaning to get are
still there, too. The Store Page is much easier to use since I've redesigned
it, and soon there will be POSTERS!

- 7/20/2002: Oy. Six months of procrastination isn't much, is it? In
the Grand Scheme of Things, why it's practically an eyeblink... Life
Drawing and Characters galleries
are currently undergoing renovation. New stuff up soon!
- 1/06/2002: Happy New Year, Everybody! All right, if everyone is quite
done whining about the lack of manned missions to Jupiter in the year 2001,
let's count our blessings, shall we? 2001 was a tough year, with many unpleasant
parts, but also some wonderful days as well. My good friends Terrence and
Miranda got married. Sabre and Cruz announced their engagement, as did Kim
and Cynan, and several other couples I know. Sure, it's not world-shaking
news, but out of many such little stories life continues. So, best wishes
and long life to you all! The year is gone, and we're still here.
- 10/15/2001: Major Addition! I've got some new stuff up! The Life
Drawings Gallery has lots of new content, with more to come. I'd appreciate
it if you'd let me know about
any broken or misrouted links in this section.
- 10/06/01 Minor Housekeeping. Of note: Added the Moto
Gendo T-shirt to the Character Store. It's very cool. I think everyone
-at least, everyone with a keen sense of fashion - oughta have one.

New store! Yeah, basically my Gamer friends whined a lot that the
stuff THEY wanted to buy wasn't represented. So I have yet another cool
new Cafepress store, with images from my Characters Gallery. The selection
right now is just a few shirts and mugs, but there's more to come soon. The
Limited Edition Stein is only gonna be there through the month of October,
though, so get it now if you want it.
- 9/30/01 (Later) Okay, I think I've fixed all the broken links.
If you find a link that is broken or misrouted or otherwise behaving in a
peculiar fashion, please let me know.
- 9/30/01: Evolution of the Common Octopus.. My mom sez she misses
the silly-looking octopus with the suitcase, so I'm putting all the permutations
Octy has gone through on the top of this page. Whaddya guys think? Should
I make them T-shirts?
- 9/24/01: Maybe we should just call it a vacation...Well, after much
misadventure, the gallery is back on Homestead. But I've moved, oddly enough.
I am back in my hometown of Oakland, CA.. A few things, like my
Resume, have been updated, but things are mostly unchanged at the moment.
New images up soon. Incidentally, I'm looking for a way to get prints done
up inexpensively. Got any suggestions
or recommendations?
- 9/24/01: Welcome to the next century. Like most people, I'm still
kinda shell-shocked by the WTC incident. The game has changed folks, and the
ripples are still spreading. I added the ribbon on the corner, which will
link you to the Red Cross donation site on Yahoo! if you are so inclined.
- 8/17/01: Whew! Welcome to the new site! There's new stuff lurking
here and there, check out the Bestiary,
Links and Store!
- 8/14/01: The Big Move. Homestead was a really nice, no-fuss service.
Don't get me wrong, I liked them and I'm going to miss them. But they're switching
over to a paying service, and while I'm certain it is worth every penny, it's
pennies I frankly can't afford. So the body of the gallery is moving elsewhere,
piggybacking on a friend's site until I find another service...
- 7/011/01: Rearranging the furniture. After listening to your feedback,
the site is now a wee bit bigger: The Store
has its own page now, and will offer more goodies. The front page has a new
Nav bar, and What's New? is no longer cluttering it up, as you can see. ^_^
Hopefully the Links page will be up soon as
well.
- 6/23/01: New Gallery! Introducing the Landscapes Gallery. There's
not much in it right now, but that will change pretty soon! Oh yeah, some
of the newer Character Sketches are now in color.
- 6/12/01: I'll be uploading stuff all this week. New content in the
Bestiary and Character galleries.
- 6/1/01: For those who like their art more prosaically packaged, we
now have T-shirts, Mugs and other goodies
through the magic of CafePress. I
love these guys!
