Initial sketch. Big twisty trees coming up out of the
lake instead of a village. Structures of indeterminate finction on cliff
faces, signal towers on outer rim.

Trying to get a 3-Dimensional feel. Glacier bits poke over the edge of the (too shallow) crater - looks more like a dish. Volcanic rift defined along far right. |

Crude color study: Glaciers, volcanic rift and ice now very obvious, towers and lake shape more defined. View is from fifth signal tower. Still too shallow, though...Somebody wanna try this in Bryce? |
