The top row of paintings are small quick studies done on location - that is, they are real places. They are all done in acrylic and canvas, and measure no larger than 8' x10". They're pretty loosely painted - they are, after all, studies.

The bottom row are places from my imagination. They're mostly Photoshop over scanned pen and ink sketches. If they seem brighter and more interesting, you'll have to forgive me - It's much more fun, in my opinion, to design an imaginary place than to paint an existing one.
